Overview
BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) is a 5½-year undergraduate medical degree that combines the principles of naturopathy (natural medicine) and yoga therapy. It focuses on using natural healing methods, lifestyle modifications, and yogic practices to promote health, prevent disease, and restore balance in the body.
This course is designed for those who wish to pursue a holistic approach to healthcare — integrating the mind, body, and spirit — without heavy reliance on drugs or invasive procedures.
Course Duration
5½ years (4½ years of academic study + 1 year of compulsory internship)
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have completed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects.
- Minimum aggregate score: 50% (may vary by institution).
- NEET qualification may be required in some universities (especially government colleges). NEET not Required
- Minimum age: 17 years at the time of admission.
